For your best chance at capturing one though, the colder months of December through April provide lots of numbers as well as good average size (very few under 40 pounds, and up to 100+). They school heavily and it is easy to put a boat limit in the boat on a good day in under an hour. If you could only pick three months to wahoo fish, January through March would be a wise choice.
