Mahi Mahi

Considered by many to be the most beautiful and acrobatic out of all the pelagic gamefish, these brightly colored, delicious eating fish frequent warmer waters (over 76 degrees), and thus are generally only found April though October. Historically, we really start to get into them around 10 days before Memorial Day, and target them around our floating oil rigs and weedlines throughout the summer. Fall finds a good migration of them riding the loop current south back towards the keys, Bahamas, and other warmer waters.
